Dina Colada

Just found out I’ve been paying $29.99 monthly for an empty email list.

For 14 months straight.

With exactly ZERO subscribers.

*slow clap for myself*

Let me tell you about the expensive lesson I just learned about trying to do too many things at once…

See those invoices up there?

That’s what “shiny object syndrome” looks like when it hits your bank account.

I was so busy chasing multiple business ideas…
Starting new projects…
Jumping from thing to thing…

That I completely forgot I had an Aweber account running in the background.

Just… sitting there.
Collecting dust.
And my money.

Frustrated woman with costly subscription and zero subscribers.

The worst part?

I didn’t even notice the charges.

For over a year.

Because I was too “busy” juggling other projects to check my statements properly.

Here’s the real kick in the teeth:

This wasn’t just about losing $420.

It’s about what that represents:

• Scattered focus
• Half-finished projects
• Money literally thrown away

You know what successful people DON’T do?

They don’t try to launch 5 businesses at once.

They don’t forget about active subscriptions.

And they definitely don’t pay for email marketing with zero subscribers.

(At least I hope they don’t. Makes me feel better to think that.)

The Truth Bomb:

When you try to do everything…
You end up mastering nothing.

When you chase every opportunity…
You catch none of them.

And when you’re too “busy” to check your damn bank statements…

Well, you end up writing embarrassing posts like this one.

The Solution?

I’m picking ONE thing.
ONE business.
ONE focus.

Woman enjoying morning coffee and smartphone.

And I’m sticking to it until it either:
A) Actually works
or
B) Definitively fails

No more half-measures.
No more “trying everything.”
No more paying for empty email lists.

Consider this my public commitment.

And my very expensive reminder that focus isn’t just some cute productivity tip…

It’s the difference between building something real…

And watching your money disappear $29.99 at a time.

Anyone else want to confess their “shiny object syndrome” expenses?

(Please say yes. I can’t be the only one.)

P.S. Yes, I finally cancelled that Aweber account.
After writing this post.
Because apparently I needed to milk one last bit of content from my shame. ????
